Very convenience location among highways, Fort Davis National Park is very close (4 min drive, 15 min walk). Twenty minutes to McDonald Observatory.
Check-in was easy. The rooms were very clean! Free basic breakfast was good. I\'m glad they\'re dog-friendly, too.
Perks: Shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers; USB plug in for phone chargers, TV, microwave, refrigerator; Outdoor grill and picnic tables.
We were late in trying to make reservations, so when I found that Ft. Davis Inn and RV Park had a vacancy, I jumped on it. When we arrived, the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, smelled good, was good sized, and our mattresses were wonderful. We had absolutely no problem with the internet, and our TV worked perfectly! The cleaning crew made sure we had everything we needed! Overall, we had a really good time while in Ft. Davis and we would definitely not hesitate to stay there on our next trip!!!
Great hospitality!! Amit was fantastic making sure our stay was pleasant!!!!!!!!!!! Very nice and quiet area. I was surprised that the internet was so fast considering that we were pretty much out in the mountains no where near a city!
It\'s not a boutique place, but rather a great spin on the motor court. The family that runs this place does an incredible job. It\'s been thought out well. The rooms are clean and simple, but they have everything you might need: flat screen TV, shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in shower, microwave, mini fridge, Wi-Fi, USB plugs, power strip, and believe it or not - a room light on the ceiling. The furniture is comfy, as are the beds. This will my new favorite place in the Big Bend.
Staff went out of their way to help us, great place with a great location with Mountain views..clean and comfortable..only 20 minutes from Observatory and walking distance from Historic Site, has modern design rooms with flat-screen Televisions!
